Terms of Service

DocChase helps accountants and bookkeepers collect documents from their clients: you create document requests, share an upload link, and we send automatic email and SMS reminders until the documents arrive.

You must provide accurate information and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 18 and use DocChase for legitimate business purposes only.

Don't use DocChase to break the law, infringe others' rights, upload malware, or send unsolicited messages. You are responsible for the content you and your clients upload, and for having a lawful basis to request and store it.

DocChase is a paid subscription billed monthly in advance. Fees are shown at checkout. You can cancel anytime; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

14-day money-back guarantee: if you're not satisfied, email contact@docchase.io within 14 days of your first payment and we'll refund it in full, no questions asked. This applies to your first subscription payment only; subsequent renewals are non-refundable, though you can cancel anytime to stop future charges.

Upload links are secured by an unguessable token rather than a login. Keep these links confidential and share them only with the intended client. You remain the controller of the documents your clients submit; we process them on your behalf to provide the service.

We work to keep DocChase available but don't guarantee uninterrupted service. We may update, suspend, or discontinue features, and we may revise these terms — we'll update the date above and, for material changes, give reasonable notice.

DocChase is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim. You are responsible for keeping your own copies of important documents.

You can stop using DocChase and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms. On termination, your access ends and we delete or return your data in line with our privacy policy.
